So far this term we've had the explosive finale for the primary science sessions, and the start of this terms elective on sustainability, where students are learning how to take care of our planet for future generations

For this weeks #astronomy elective students were learning all about moving in space and how rockets work, getting to see one in action themselves when we launched our own rockets down the corridor

Our #Astronomy elective started this week, this time students got to learn just how space can get! Shrinking the solar system down to the size of the school field students were amazed by just how big the distance between the planets is!

This week we had the last session of our #dissection science elective; the first of a series of electives we'll be running this year. Students had the opportunity to carry out dissections of hearts, eyes, fish heads and more!

They used balloons, bottles, and other recycled materials to soke success - whatever floats your boat! 🚢 🚣‍♂️

The start of #Engineering elective at MA today - Mr Islam is having us construct parachutes for eggs!
