Be BORING. Build boring business. Do boring workouts. Read boring books. Do boring courses. Eat boring foods. As a man who wants to go far in life, learn to be bored, silent, and alone.
One minute you don't have it. The next minute your cup is overflowing. That's how Allah pours His blessings. Suddenly, abruptly and always right on time. Trust his process. "Allah will bring about, after hardship, ease [relief]." 65:7.

I say, "I've left it to Allah," and genuinely mean it, but then I catch myself making dua for it all day, praying extra nafl, and overthinking it again. The battle between tawakkul and desire is no joke. 😭
A very scary Hadīth that all of us must internalise:
Narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“Whoever has wronged his brother in regard to his honor or anything else should seek his forgiveness today, before there will be neither dinar nor dirham. If he has good deeds, some of them will be taken from him in proportion to the wrong he committed. And if he has no good deeds, some of the sins of the one he wronged will be taken and placed upon him.”
— al-Bukhari
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said
"The truest love is when your love for someone makes you fear for their Akhirah more than Your own desires."
[Rawdat al-Muhibbeen]
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“Whoever obeys Allah, He will be his supporter and when Allah supports someone, he can never be defeated.”
[Supporting the Distressed Against the Tricks of Shaytan, pg. 61]
Umar ibn al-Khattab expressing his fear of being questioned by Allaah:
I wish I was not created.
I wish my mother never delivered me.
I wish I was nothing.
I wish I was totally forgotten.
[{Az-Zuhd of Ibn al-Mubarak (235)}]
Wallahi, if you hear what others are going through, you’d realize how much you’ve been underappreciating Allah’s blessings around you.
Lord please forgive me for all the times I have been ungrateful.
