Matt Alex

Just a guy surviving this crazy world. Admissions professional, travel junkie, dog dog, husband, fitness lover, and typical gay boy.

Please don't tell me "it'll be fine, you'll be alright." I'm a cis white guy in California. Of course I'll be ok. It's not me I'm worrying about.

This is the bad place, isn’t it?

Thank you, Delaware! Because of your votes and your values, I am proud to be your next member of Congress.

Delaware has sent the message loud and clear that we must be a country that protects reproductive freedom, that guarantees paid leave and affordable child care for all our families, that ensures that housing and health care are available to everyone and that this is a democracy that is big enough for all of us.

I just need Map Daddy @SteveKornacki to tell me everything’s going to be ok.

[Barack Obama @BarackObama]

It took several days to count every ballot in 2020, and it’s very likely we won’t know the outcome tonight either. So please keep a few things in mind as you make your voice heard today:

– Thousands of election workers around the country are working hard today. Respect them. Thank them.

– Don’t share things before checking your sources.

– Let the process run its course. It takes time to count every ballot.

The Bridge Fire in the Angeles National Forest exploded to ~47k acres with 0% containment.

The fire was quite visible last night from behind the Los Angeles skyline photographed the Baldwin Hills area.

A sad reality of fire season in LA.

Incredible photo of the #BridgeFire in the mountains behind downtown Los Angeles.

Very mindful. Very demure. Very presidential.

I mean this in the most insulting way possible: If you’re watching this and thinking that Trump is winning, you are either stupid or a bad person or both! And you’re in a cult! #Debate2024
