Toured several areas of Zadibal constituency including Almagiri Bazar, Gasiyar, Lalbazar, Ashaibagh and Dal and met residents, especially our youth. I urged everyone to remain calm and not take the law into their own hands. Mourning is a legitimate right, but it must be expressed in accordance with the law and the administration’s directives.

I am deeply concerned by the number of parents calling about their children being detained. In this moment of sorrow, I appeal to the administration to consider their release as a goodwill gesture in this moment of grief. The future of our youngsters should not be jeopardized.

Spoke on DCM @Surinderch55 Sb’s grants today, stressing that infrastructure, artisan welfare & employment must be central to J&K’s development. Urged timely macadamisation, flyover at SKIMS, relief from loan and others for handicraft artisans, operationalisation of gypsum mines, modernisation of cement plants & stronger job avenues for our youth.

Mir Behri Dal:

Laid the foundation stone for the development of the playfield at Mir Behri Dal at a cost of ₹59.75 lakh.
For the first time, youngsters of Mir Behri Dal will have a proper sports facility in their own area, a step towards empowering youth and promoting sports in every corner of Zadibal.

At Rainawari, visited the residence of 14-year-old Madiha from Gurpora who left us far too soon. Joined the family in their grief, offered fateha, and prayed for strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Just spoke to Union Minister @MORTHIndia @nitin_gadkari Sb regarding the situation along NH 44 & the lack of connectivity with the rest of the country along this vital link.
The frustration of fruit growers is understandable. They have been very patient for the first few days but watching their hard work rot because @nhidcl is unable to stabilise the highway, their patience has worn thin & that is totally understandable.
Some concrete steps will be taken within the next 24 hours to address this problem but I will wait for that to happen before I say any more about the proposed plan of action.
