Kashmeer, son of Akhtaran Bakhlani Bugti, was forcibly disappeared by ISI personnel from Karachi’s Saddar area two days ago. Later he was taken to the Doli area of Dera Bugti and handed over to death squad operative Shahnawaz Chakrani. Today, his body was found in Doli bearing bullet wounds.
Kashmeer had been working as a laborer in factories in Karachi for several years. The incident has raised serious concerns over enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings in Balochistan.

Pakistan’s ISI forcibly disappeared Kamsheer, son of Akhtran Bugti, from Karachi’s Saddar area two days ago. His family had relocated to Karachi after the military operation in Dera Bugti, where they lived as IDPs. Since then, Kamsheer had been working in various factories to support his family.
According to his family, he was abducted by ISI personnel, taken to Sui, and handed over to a local armed group, known as death squad. He was later executed, and his bullet-riddled body was found near the Doli area on the Sui–Kashmore Road.
The IDPs from Dera Bugti living across Sindh and Punjab have faced enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, and other forms of persecution at the hands of Pakistani security agencies for many years.
Dera Bugti: A military operation is underway in several areas of Sui, including Lanju and Seghari.
A large number of Pakistani troops, accompanied by death squad personnel, have occupied a school in Seghari and established a checkpoint there.
Since Friday evening, Pakistani forces have been firing mortar shells and using quadcopter to drop bombs on the civilian population.
A police official and an employee of the Education Department were forcibly disappeared by the notorious CTD in Sui, Dera Bugti, on Thursday morning.
Siraj, son of Banna Khan Bugti, a police sepoy, was picked up while on duty. Gull Mohammad, son of Zar Khan Bugti, an Education Department employee, was also forcibly disappeared from Tehsil Bazaar in Sui.

SHO CTD Sui, Umar Khoso, is operating a kidnapping-for-ransom racket in Dera Bugti district with the support of the ISI.
In recent weeks, dozens of individuals have been picked up on various allegations, and later released only after their families paid substantial sums of money.
The man's name is Omar Khosa and he is currently SHO CTD Sui.
This man disappeared hundreds of people in Dera Bugti district on various charges and then released them after taking huge sums of money.
On the morning of April 19, the so-called CTD officials from Sui Tehsil of Dera Bugti district subjected Dilawar son of Qudratullah Bugti to enforced disappearance. No information has been given yet about the crime for which he was subjected to enforced disappearance.
