@GRCinemaTicket Blade Runner. It’s visually superior, and the story is more boring. Therefore, it becomes more enjoyable with each viewing and I can watch it on repeat. While The Thing is a masterpiece, subsequent viewings offer diminishing returns once the plot can no longer surprise you.

@JayExci @Arkanrium My guess is that Jerome here is comparing you to James Stephanie Sterling. It comes across as an attempt at belittling, but based on the wording, I can't be sure. It doesn't work as an insult either way, because Stephanie is a wonderful content creator and a great human being.

@sjmay92 I love this film. Apparently, critics said that Kubrick was "not an emotional director". This movie proves he was a very emotional director. As bizarre as Eyes Wide Shut was at points, it was painfully human and relatable too, and deeply moved me.

@darthvaderbater @NolanAnalyst I doubt that. The Fellowship Of The Ring is in a league of its own compared to Dune: Part One. I would rate Dune: Part Two and The Two Towers as roughly equal in quality. That means Dune Messiah would have to be an unprecedented masterpiece to beat LOTR overall.

@surroshenpai That’s all fine, IMO. People have every right to like a story for the emotions it evokes. Not all flaws in logic and internal consistency are deal-breakers. Aleczandxr mentioned having reasons to appreciate the ending, he didn't claim it's flawlessly written.
