Just to understand the level of brutality of this regime:

In 2021, when farmers in Isfahan protested water shortages caused by years of mismanagement, they were met with bullets instead of answers. Hundreds were arrested, and around 40 people lost vision after security forces fired pellet shots directly at their faces.

And now we are learning that much of that water was not just mismanaged, it was diverted into building underground infrastructure in Yazd for their missile programs.
