Why is it that the dashboard screen in a typical 🚘 can’t update which song is playing on the radio until approximately 10 seconds before that song is finished?

Is this something with the over-air signal, the radio station, the audio watermark?

Attended a #Halloween party 👻🎃 at a local bar where the 50yo son of my companions worked. As their son approached us wearing an emoji mask —💩—I called out, “Hi, s#%thead!” He laughed but my friends scowled. It was then I realized that they had no idea what an emoji was. 😬
