CBI arrests another key accused connected with the leak of Physics questions in the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case

Accused, namely Manisha Sanjay Havaldar, presently working in Seth Hiralal Saraf Prashala, Pune, Maharashtra, has been arrested after thorough interrogation by CBI. She was involved in the NEET UG 2026 Examination process and appointed by NTA as an expert. She had complete access to the Physics question papers. During April 2026, she had shared some of the questions of the NEET UG 2026 Examination pertaining to Physics subject with co-accused Manisha Mandhare (already arrested on 16-05-2026).

So far, 11 accused have been arrested in this case from Delhi, Jaipur, Gurugram, Nasik, Pune, Latur and Ahliyanagar.

50 officially allotted FMG interns at ESIC Medical College Indore (@ESICMCIndore) are being denied admission despite MPMC & NMC approval. Students have travelled repeatedly between Indore & Bhopal for over a week, yet no admissions granted. Now ESIC Indore says they await HQ permission while the last date is 28 May.

Students were even warned they may be forced to sign affidavits surrendering stipend rights.
Why this discrimination against FMGs despite Supreme Court & NMC directions? We are Indian citizens too.

किसी कंपनी के अगर डायरेक्ट 1 लाख कर्मचारी हैं तो मान के चलिए कि कम से कम चार लाख ऐसे हैं जिनका चूल्हा उसी कम्पनी के कारण चलता है।

और मैं मात्र 10 बड़ी कंपनियों की बात कर रहा हूँ। हजारों ऐसी प्राइवेट कंपनियां हैं देश में जो रोजगार पैदा कर रही हैं।

ये 25 लाख कॉर्पोरेट नौकरियां भारत में पिछले 70 वर्षों में सृजित कुल केंद्र सरकार की नौकरियों (48.34 लाख) के आधे से अधिक हैं।

यह पिछले 70 वर्षों में कर्नाटक जैसे बड़े राज्य में सृजित कुल सरकारी नौकरियों का भी 5 गुना है!

निजी क्षेत्र का सम्मान करें, उन्हें गालियों से मत नवाजें। अपने राजनैतिक एजेंडे और पसंद नापसंद के कारण उन लोगों का मजाक ना उड़ायें जो देश के विकास में बहुत बड़े सहभागी हैं।

नौकरी देने वालों के लिए जयकार जयकार भले ना करें लेकिन उन्हें इज़्ज़त देना तो सीखिए।

वे लाखों भारतीयों के लिए आजीविका पैदा कर रहे हैं।

भारत में 3 पीढ़ियों की आर्थिक क्षमता को बर्बाद करने वाले असफल समाजवादी राजनेताओं की बात न सुनें। यदि आप आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए उज्ज्वल भविष्य चाहते हैं, तो भारत को ऐसे हजारों नए निगमों की आवश्यकता है जो उच्च वेतन वाली नौकरियों का सृजन करते हैं।

STORY | Parliamentary panel summons NTA chief; to review reforms, NEET-UG paper leak case on May 21

A parliamentary panel has decided to review the implementation of reforms in the National Testing Agency (NTA) as well as the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case and has summoned NTA Chairperson Pradeep Kumar Joshi and other bureaucrats for deliberations.

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, Women, Children, Youth and Sports will seek the views of top education ministry bureaucrats on the alleged paper leak and reforms of NTA, which holds centralised admission tests to various undergraduate courses, on May 21, a Rajya Sabha notice said.

The agenda includes a review of the implementation of the K Radhakrishnan Committee report on NTA reforms and an update on the investigation into the alleged NEET-UG paper leak case.

The committee, headed by Congress leader Digvijaya Singh, has summoned the Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Vineet Joshi, and NTA Chairperson Pradeep Kumar Joshi for deliberations.

The NTA cancelled the National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam (Undergraduate) held on May 3 amid allegations of irregularities. Nearly 23 lakh candidates had registered for the test, which was administered by the NTA across the country.

VIDEO | Delhi: Ministry of Education Secretary, Sanjay Kumar, addressing a press conference on CBSE Class 12 evaluation issues, said, "This time, when the Class 12 examinations were conducted, the answer sheets were scanned, and PDF copies were created. In total, around 9.8 million answer sheets were scanned for the students who appeared in the examinations. During the scanning process, three levels of security were maintained. This was necessary because while scanning, it had to be ensured that the quality of scanning is proper and that no page is missed in the process. The scanning had to be complete as well as legible. After this process, the security coding and numbering of the answer sheets were checked from a security point of view so that the answer sheets could be sent anywhere securely. One major advantage of introducing OSM was the flexibility it provided. Earlier, when CBSE conducted evaluation or marking, it was generally done within the geographical jurisdiction of the respective regional offices. However, with OSM, it has now become possible to have answer sheets evaluated even outside the regional office’s area. This has brought greater transparency and objectivity into the evaluation process."
