@ReticentLevent1@ConfederateMyth@RyLiberty@LeighWolf@ConfederateMyth New Jersey was the last state in the union to end slavery. After the war all the union controlled border states and the new slave state the union created as well as any Southern territory the union controlled still had slaves. The union created a new slave state.
@JohnnyDetailTX@Acyn@AOC@ConfederateMyth its settled well documented history that Lincoln offered Lee command of the union army. Lee also didn’t own slaves most his life, that’s a lie you made up. Lee inherited slaves and freed them as soon as he could
@lost_sandal@elonmusk@ConfederateMyth Lincoln said forcing the states into the union was the cause of the war. The first set is states that seceded did so mainly because of tariffs. The rest of the States left because Lincoln invaded South Carolina and started the war.

@RyLiberty@LeighWolf@ConfederateMyth Lincoln signing didn’t do anything. It didn’t actually do anything until he was dead and gone. Lincoln didn’t free a single slave.

Lincoln was wrong, or knowingly lying. As early as 1812, New England wanted to leave the union no because of slavery, South Carolina wanted to leave in 1832. Even before 1776 the north and South had different and had trouble coming together.
