To introduce Black business owners to students and the community, MBKNewRo is debuting a new once-a-month series called “Meet a Local Black Entrepreneur.”

The first episode in the series highlights Papa Asante, who is the owner of “The LAB NR,” which is a music studio with rehearsal space located on Webster Avenue in New Rochelle. In addition to being an entrepreneur, Asante is also an Audio/Aerospace Engineer.
