It was a great week in the media center with all 6th grade ELA classes coming in to talk about elements of fairy tales and help kick off their next unit. We also got to “sample” several fairy tales and write about which elements we found! 🦄🧚‍♀️🐉

Saw the #RedTitanPlayhouse production of Beauty and the Beast this afternoon. It was PHENOMENAL! Sets & costumes were amazing. Acting & singing were incredible. There are two more chances to see it - 7 tonight & 3:30 tomorrow. Go support these awesome students. You’ll love it! ❤️

Our 7th graders are starting their new novel, Refugee by @alangratz. What a great time for them to come in & do some research on the historical events featured in the book! We’ll take any chance to review good research methods & writing, especially paired with such a great book!
