@ColorlessThinkr @GreedIsland99 @veteranposting @745godstar The argument is more people than not don’t download it. It takes up far to much space on their phone unless they’re downloading a very small playlist. I have over 10,000 songs on my phone so I never download any of them. I just stream and save the space on my phone as do most ppl
@ColorlessThinkr @GreedIsland99 @veteranposting @745godstar Spotify does have more there and I agree. The only difference is the type of files and quality they’re able to put out no matter how you tweak them. I used to use the EQ to get the best clarity I could off Spotify but I still made the switch in the end. Your argument is fair.
@ColorlessThinkr @GreedIsland99 @veteranposting @745godstar LTE can’t consistently put out the 320kbps Spotify can go up to. It only works 100% accurate on WiFi.
@GreedIsland99 @ColorlessThinkr @veteranposting @745godstar Here’s the info on what Apple and Spotify both use to make their audio quality. You are right on the numbers though! Apple does however have “Verdict: Apple Music has a richer and deeper bass audio quality.” See attached pitcutres on the numbers and info on both below. 👇🏼
@GreedIsland99 @ColorlessThinkr @veteranposting @745godstar This unfortunately only works effectively on WiFi right now. Otherwise I’d agree 100%. But as far as the actual quality it consistently puts out no matter where you are Apple takes the cake.
@bigbardo1 @Pharell2020dead @Marc_Sneakers @JuseeOrange @veteranposting You can still tweak the EQ on both or turn the EQ completely off on both applications.
@PINTBOISTEVE You can switch to that but that’s again why I said (for most users) most people won’t switch to that because of the higher files taking up space. I’ve used it before and it works good over WiFi. Driving (which is when I listen to music) not as well. So I use Apple.
@PINTBOISTEVE Was talking quality since the start of my argument, u switched to EQ (after the screenshot) never even brought it up until then. If we’re talking strictly audio quality Apple wins. But you can tweak EQ on both apps. Spotify does allows you to tweak a user setting unlike Apple.
@PINTBOISTEVE I’m talking strictly quality, not the EQ factor. I know the EQ factor is there the article just said that. The main point in the EQ screenshot is the “Verdict: Apple Music has a richer and deeper bass audio quality.”
@PINTBOISTEVE Spotify has had that forever. Again your music file is compressed Apples isn’t. You can’t make a compressed file match non compressed. 🤦🏼♂️I legit still have Spotify and it’s not as high quality. I said I used it for 2-3 years I just made the switch fully within the last year. 😂
@Marc_Sneakers @PINTBOISTEVE @JuseeOrange @veteranposting I do use Spotify to find music and listen to some songs though. One con about apple is sometimes songs won’t be available in your country anymore and it will still be available on Spotify. So then I use Spotify because I make a playlist of these songs. But it’s rare I use it.
@Marc_Sneakers @PINTBOISTEVE @JuseeOrange @veteranposting I agree with you, Apple isn’t as user friendly. But if all you’re looking for is the sound quality I recommend Apple. If you want more options as far as experience, and etc. go Spotify. I have a family plan on both but I use Apple for listening.
@PINTBOISTEVE @Marc_Sneakers @JuseeOrange @veteranposting They can tweak both platforms anyway possible to achieve the best sound quality you can possibly get for every song and apple wins everytime.
@PINTBOISTEVE @Marc_Sneakers @JuseeOrange @veteranposting I did for 2-3 years too. Just gave you facts. You’re arguing with a guy who works in the music industry, has friends that are music producers, audio engineers, & Grammy winning artist.
@PINTBOISTEVE @Marc_Sneakers @JuseeOrange @veteranposting Also speaking from experience though. I used Spotify for about 2-3 years. I enjoyed it until I heard friends Apple Music in my car and noticed the difference in quality. So I tested it myself and made the switch. Spotify is good but I like higher quality.
