While it has been great to see some of these top rookies nice and early, I can't wait for the ACTUAL Summer League to start. This 'classic' always seems a little watered down and average. Still nice to have hoops back though!

The Detroit Pistons are trading Caris LeVert and two second-round picks to the Milwaukee Bucks for Taurean Prince and Gary Harris, sources tell ESPN. Pistons will create a trade exception from the deal and savings while Bucks acquire LeVert and pick up assets.

@NBAHoopsMuse His shooting will help space the floor like Joe... but he has a better skillset such as playmaking and being a secondary ball handler to run the offence. He's intriguing.

As a playmaker he's been wonderfully efficient.... 14 assists, only 2 turnovers. Not to mention, he also has 5 steals & 3 blocks in the 2 games.

Let's see what happens with guys like Randle etc.

@24TaylorMade No doubt. A lot of great young talent. This crop though....SUPER special and some interesting narratives. Plus, a lot of guys went to situations that REALLY suit them!

My easy takeaway from the Summer League games so far...

Darryn Peterson is as good of an NBA prospect as we've seen. Going to love watching him play.

OKC have great rotational depth pieces who will have plenty of time to mature and won't be relied on early.

Acuff is fun.
