Met someone a couple months back, nice and handsome but I kept my distance.
He asked me out. I've given every excuse I could think of (all true), said I’m not ready, not doing trauma bonds, etc.
He replied: “You’ll need more than friends, kids, and trauma to scare me off.” 😳

Circumstances matter. They matter a lot.

An ordinary action, in the wrong place at the wrong time, combined with a chain of unfortunate events, can spark complete chaos. Sometimes it's easier to let it go...

Enjoying a good book, a nice song, walking the railroad, working out or just existing . No urgency to fill silence or spaces.

Sharing silence is a level of intimacy talking can't match. I'll pour a glass of wine, dance and reserve that intimacy for myself and the right person.
