This is extremely disturbing that the security forces, which cannot fight militants and maintain security, resort to killing and dumping innocent and disappeared persons, then branding them as terrorists.

Last night, following a deadly bombing in Jiwani, five people were extra judicially killed and dumped. Among them was Abdul Haq, an educator and school principal who was forcibly disappeared in January 2026. For months, fake promises and assurances were made to his family by government not to go public because he would be released.

Abdul Haq was the uncle of Ali Haider, who in 2013 marched on foot from Karachi to Islamabad for his missing father, Mohammad Ramazan, who was disappeared on the Makran Coastal Highway in July 2010. In 16 years, the state did not bring back Ali Haider’s father, but instead killed and dumped his uncle Abdul Haq, who had the responsibility of raising and taking care of Mohammad Ramazan’s children.

The shelter over Ali Haider’s head has been snatched away once again today. Ali Haider grew up with the grief of his father’s disappearance. Now, as a young man, he has to spend the rest of his youth grieving for his uncle. When he becomes an older man, he will probably have to grieve for another family member.

Killing and dumping peaceful people and branding them as terrorists will not contain a rebellion. It will only fuel it further.

ڈاکٹر ماہ رنگ بلوچ اور بی وائی سی کے دیگر رہنماؤں کے خلاف مقدمہ پہلے ہی سے طے شدہ تھا۔ عدالتی کارروائی محض ایک فارملٹی کے سوا کچھ نہیں تھی۔ نہ کوئی ٹھوس ثبوت پیش کیا گیا اور نہ ہی ایسا کوئی جرم ثابت کیا گیا جس کی بنیاد پر ڈاکٹر ماہ رنگ بلوچ اور صبغت اللہ شاہ جی کو عمر قید کی سزا سنائی جاتی۔ یہ فیصلہ ریاستی بوکھلاہٹ کے سوا کچھ نہیں۔

بی وائی سی کے قانونی وکلاء اور جیل میں قید رہنماؤں نے پہلے ہی دن سے ریاست کی جانب سے مقرر کردہ نام نہاد کونسل کو مسترد کر دیا تھا کیونکہ وہ ان کی مرضی اور رضامندی کے بغیر مقدمے کی پیروی کر رہا تھا۔ یہ ایک ایسا مقدمہ تھا جس میں ریاست نے خود کارروائی چلائی، کونسل بھی اسی کی مقرر کردہ تھی، گواہ بھی اسی کے زیر اثر تھے اور فیصلہ بھی اسی کی مرضی کے مطابق سنایا گیا۔

فیس لیس اور اسپیڈی ٹرائل کے بعد اب وہی ریاستی کونسل، جس نے بی وائی سی کے لیگل وکلاء اور جیل میں قید بی وائی سی کے رہنماؤں کی مرضی کے بغیر ان کی نمائندگی کی، اسے ریاست کی جانب سے بڑے عہدوں سے نوازا جا رہا ہے۔ غیر منصفانہ فیصلے کے بعد سید اقبال شاہ کو ایڈیشنل ایڈووکیٹ جنرل بلوچستان تعینات کیا جانا اس بات کو واضح کرتا ہے کہ عدالتی نظام کس حد تک بوسیدہ ہو چکا ہے۔

پولیس کی کارروائی کے ردِعمل میں مظاہرین نے احتجاجاً کرانی بائی پاس کو بھی بند کر دیا ہے۔ اور یہ واضح کیا ہے کہ گرفتار افراد کی بلاشرط رہائی تک احتجاج کا دائرہ برقرار رہے گا اور اپنے آئینی و جمہوری حقِ احتجاج سے دستبردار نہیں ہوں گے۔

The peaceful protest organized by the families of detained BYC leaders at Burma Hotel, Sariab, Quetta, was met with a heavy crackdown by Quetta Police.

Several peaceful protesters were arrested. As of now, the whereabouts of many of those detained remain unknown, raising serious concerns for their safety and well-being.

The right to peaceful assembly and freedom of expression must be respected. The families’ call for justice was answered with force, and those taken into custody should be accounted for immediately.

We demand that the authorities disclose the whereabouts of all detained protesters, ensure their safety, and uphold their legal rights.

آج بروز جمعہ شام کے وقت سریاب مل کالونی روڈ بلوچ عوام نے بغیر کسی منظم ادارے کے گھنٹو روڈ بند رکھ کر یہ پیغام دیا کہ بلوچ سیاسی رہنماؤں کو سنائی گئی عمر قید کی سزا ایک غیر انسانی اور غیر منصفانہ عمل ہے، جسے بلوچ عوام سیاسی انتقام کے طور پر دیکھتے ہیں۔

بلوچ عوام ڈاکٹر ماہرنگ بلوچ اور بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی کو اپنے حقوق کی آواز سمجھتی ہے جس کے خلاف لیے گئے اقدامات کو عوام دشمن پالیسیاں سمجھتی ہے۔ آج عوام کا یہ غصہ ظاہر کر رہا ہے کہ ریاست کی یہ پالیسی عوام کو ریاست سے ایک قدم اور دور کردیگی ۔

جمہوری سیاسی آوازوں کو دبانے کے بجائے عوامی مسائل، آئینی حقوق اور انصاف کے تقاضوں کو مدنظر رکھنا ضروری ہے۔ ایسے فیصلے جو انصاف، شفاف ٹرائل اور بنیادی حقوق کے سوالات اٹھاتے ہیں، ان کے خلاف عوامی ردعمل ایک فطری عمل ہے۔

بلوچ عوام اپنے سیاسی اور جمہوری حقوق کے لیے پرامن جدوجہد جاری رکھیں گے اور ہر اس عمل کی مخالفت کریں گے جو بنیادی انسانی حقوق کے اصولوں کے منافی ہوں۔ بلوچ عوام کی مزاحمت محض انصاف کے حصول لیے نہیں بلکہ بقا کے لیے ہے جسے ریاست کے حالیہ اقدامات ٹھیس تو پہنچا سکتے ہیں مگر ختم نہیں کر سکتی۔

یہ صرف تنظیم کا نہیں بلکہ بلوچ عوام کا مطالبہ ہے کہ بی وائی سی کے رہنماوں کو جلد از جلد رہا کیا جائے۔

Five days ago, the Pakistani state sentenced Dr. Mahrang Baloch and Sibghatullah Baloch to life imprisonment. It believes that by burying the faces of this movement behind the walls of Hudda Jail, it can crush a nation’s collective hope. It mistook leadership for ownership. It mistook repression for permanence. Most of all, it mistook the Baloch people for a people whose convictions could be exhausted by fear.

Dr. Mahrang understood that the greatest ambition of authoritarian power is not merely to imprison those who speak, but to make everyone else believe that speaking is no longer worth the price. She also understood that movements survive only when they cease to belong to individuals and become the collective responsibility of ordinary people.

The past week has shattered the assumption that this movement could be ended by sentencing two of its leaders to life imprisonment. Across Balochistan and far beyond it, hundreds of thousands have carried forward the very trust she placed in them before the state pronounced its pre-determined verdict. We will continue to prove that what has been built through the sacrifices of our people cannot be dismantled by prison walls or life sentences.

Some speeches are remembered because the oppressor eventually proves that the oppressed were telling the truth all along.

سانحۂ کربلا محض ایک تاریخی واقعہ نہیں، بلکہ حق و باطل کے درمیان ابدی معرکے کی علامت ہے۔ امام حسینؑ اپنے اہلِ بیت اور وفادار ساتھیوں سمیت شہید ہوئے، مگر ان کا نام، ان کا پیغام اور ان کی جدوجہد رہتی دنیا تک زندہ ہو گئی۔ دوسری طرف یزید اقتدار، فوج اور طاقت کا مالک تھا، مگر تاریخ نے اسے تنہا، رسوا اور ظلم کی علامت بنا دیا۔

آج ہر وہ شخص جو ظلم کے خلاف، انصاف، آزادی اور حق کے لیے کھڑا ہے، وہ حسینی قافلے کا وارث ہے۔ اور ہر وہ قوت جو جبر، ناانصافی اور خاموشی مسلط کرنا چاہتی ہے، تاریخ اسے یزیدی کردار کے طور پر یاد رکھتی ہے۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ آج ہر انسان خود کو حسینؑ سے جوڑنے میں فخر محسوس کرتا ہے، جبکہ کوئی بھی یزید کے نام سے نسبت نہیں چاہتا۔

آج بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی کے وہ رہنما جو قید و بند کا سامنا کر رہے ہیں، اپنے مؤقف کے مطابق حق، انصاف اور انسانی وقار کے لیے کھڑے ہیں۔ طاقت وقتی ہو سکتی ہے، مگر تاریخ کا فیصلہ ہمیشہ اصولوں کی بنیاد پر ہوتا ہے۔ ظلم وقتی کامیاب دکھائی دے سکتا ہے، لیکن اسے عزت اور دوام کبھی نصیب نہیں ہوتے۔

کربلا ہمیں یہ سبق دیتی ہے کہ ظلم کا ساتھ وقتی فائدہ دے سکتا ہے، مگر تاریخ میں وہی لوگ سرخرو ہوتے ہیں جو حق کا ساتھ دیتے ہیں، چاہے انہیں کتنی ہی قربانیاں کیوں نہ دینی پڑیں۔

آج یومِ کربلا پر ہر باشعور انسان خواہ وہ کسی بھی قوم سے تعلق رکھتا ہو اپنے ضمیر سے یہ سوال کرے: میں حق کے ساتھ کھڑا ہوں یا ظلم کی خاموش تائید کر رہا ہوں؟

کربلا صرف ماضی نہیں، حال بھی ہے اور مستقبل بھی۔ یہ ایک زندہ حقیقت ہے، جو ہر دور کے انسان سے اس کا موقف مانگتی ہے۔
