Playoff basketball season is officially here and I’m at Mt. Hebron as No. 4 @hcpss_mhhs girls basketball (10-9) hosts No. 5 @MBballl (9-13) in the Class 3A East Region I Quarterfinals.

Winner advances to Monday’s regional semis.

Marriotts Ridge defeats Reservoir 45-39, advancing to 6-8 on the year.

Jaden Washington with five key free throws inside the final 30 seconds, finishing with 13 points.

Kerri Lee also had 15, 14 of which came in the second half.

Alissa Young with 23 to lead Reservoir.
