This line was very eye opening!
“In 1992, Alberta had approximately 11,700 hospital beds. Today, with nearly double the population and a much older demographic, we have roughly 8,800. This is not an Ottawa or immigration problem. It is a planning and capacity problem.”
"I would say, the perspective that Pierre Poilievre would bring would be very much in sync with, I think…the new direction in America,”
- Danielle Smith in her Breitbart interview.
Canadians don't want to move in that direction, we're disgusted by it.

@EdifyEdmonton I think you need to add some more categories in your food best of.. two large portions of diverse food that should be showcased. Caribbean and also an African. My nominations are Cafe Caribbean for the obvious and Lochi Afro Niger for African.
Ok listen - I don’t normally wade into political discussions nor do I like to get into arguments about whether or not people are racist but I’ll make an exception for this.
1) two white guys talking about whether Canada was or wasn’t racist before is hilarious.
2) as a kid I was called a “fuc*ing paki”
3) Growing up I’ve listened to people make rude comments about friends of varying races. Accents, food, clothing, the list goes on.
4) my wife is still shocked at the number of openly curious (bordering on judgemental) comments she gets around our mixed children that go something like “they clearly aren’t fully white - what are they/what background is their father?”
5) I still like to occasionally reminisce about a certain bank whose manager of the private wealth division told me to my face he ignored my email because of my last name and only returned the voicemail I left because “I didn’t have an accent”. (Their loss and I plan on making sure they feel that loss 🔥)
@jordanbpeterson & @PierrePoilievre you are welcome to argue about whether the pendulum has swung too far, or whether the policies are working. But to argue that people were “race blind” and that everyone was on equal footing before that is laughable.
