While shopping at the mall, she noticed a little boy walk into CHAMPS with his father and ask about basketball shoes.

Her ears perked up after the boy asked if they had any pairs under $75. Of course, the worker said no and the little boy’s face DROPPED. The father told him he just couldn’t afford it.

Tinyia interrupted and asked the boy his name and what he needed the shoes for.

It turns out he's on a basketball team and was hoping for new shoes so he could wear them on the court.

Tinyia told him if that if he sent her a picture of him at his game she’d buy him whatever shoes he wanted.

As he walked out with his brand new Nike Lebrons, both the boy and his father were near tears.

There are certainly good people in the world.

BREAKING: A Mississippi mother who spent 7 months searching for her missing son, later discovered that an off-duty officer ran him over less than an hour after he left the house.

Authorities then allegedly buried him without notifying his family.

A Black woman in Mississippi reported her son missing and went 7 months with police telling her they couldn’t find him.

She sent them photos, begged for updates, and implored them to put his story on the news.

It turns out they knew where he was all along. An hour after he left his house he was struck and killed on the highway by an off duty police officer.

They hid his body in the morgue for months without ever notifying his family despite there being a prescription bottle with his name on it found at the scene.

Then they buried him in a pauper’s field with nothing but a number identifying him as corpse # “672”.

Robert Card, the shooter in Maine, reportedly reported mental health issues, including “hearing voices."

He also reportedly threatened to shoot up the National Guard base.

Stop it with the 2nd Amendment argument. It doesn’t prohibit us from talking steps to stop this.

Why can’t we just have universal background checks?

Why can’t we require background checks on all sales of guns including all sold at gun shows?

Why can’t we regulate AR-15s and similar guns like we do machine guns and sawed-off shotguns?

Why can’t we fix our mental health issues in this country?

Why?

The Lewiston Maine mass shooting this evening is not the first and it won’t be the last because sensible gun legislation is a topic that is taboo in politics.

As the body bags pile up can we at least try and figure out a way to slow these people down?
