🎉 3rd @JVascSurg Paper of the Year!
Angios show patent to patent. MRI shows what’s in between. Hard rock? Soft plaque? MRI signal mirrors mechanics, turning sight into touch. A virtual wire traversal test, before you scrub! @AlanLumsdenMD@VascularABC . https://t.co/RemUd3HzKG
Prior to this "dynamic" image, I had assumed that IMH converted to dissection primarily from a breach in intima. This show blood pools filling from intercostals-- outside in or inside out progression?

What an honor to present our work on vessel wall imaging/ endovasc device design for BTK interventions #FYA2023 in London UK. Thank you for the kind invitation @vascularIR to present in this forum of thought leaders across the globe!
DUS showed long calcified AT total occlusion, but lesion easily crossed! Ghost lumens exist w patent channels to foot that we can't see, not even on angio. 7T MRI = ghost lumens, plaque, DVTs + nerves in detail we've never seen before. Lets understand PVD better! @AlanLumsdenMD
🙋♂️Helló Magyar Angiológiai és Érsebészeti Társaság members!
Has someone told you yet that members from the Hungarian Society get discounted #ESVS membership for 2023?

Join us for an international multidisciplinary 2-day session devoted to saving limbs, directed by the talented Dr. Patrone @vascularIR! Taking place in London UK the weekend before Charing Cross. Cant wait!
Hot off the press! Our experience with vasc device design & development (bench, cadaver, imaging, CFD + more!). Robust device testing is essential to ensure txs are safe, effective and we understand the mechanism of action! @AlanLumsdenMD@monteromiguel https://t.co/tN0rBVX0Yw
Aortic endograft world is totally dependent on the CT scanner: diagnosis, fusion- intervention, follow up. So little focus on optimizing those scans -- Try this:

Wound care may not be glamorous, but it is an essential part of what we do as vascular surgeons! Good wound care changes lives. This is a quick video on how to apply a cellular tissue product and vacuum dressing. @DeBakeyCVedu@AlanLumsdenMD https://t.co/Bif2QBC7vS
A vascular imaging fellowship would empower fellows to learn various imaging techniques and apply them in novel ways to treat patients: “Imaging: New Frontiers in Vascular Training” by @KavvyaSinha@MBerczeli@AlanBLumsden@trisharoymd#DeBakeyCVJournal https://t.co/jTGQFjkeYN
Cardiologists transformed cardiac img (eg. CMR/CCTA) + have formal imaging fellowships. Should vasc sx do the same? We are vasc img end-users, should we train and advance these techniques too? Check out paper exploring this: doi: 10.14797/mdcvj.1093 @AlanLumsdenMD@monteromiguel
