It hasn’t always been easy - wrestling with film & television companies to secure the rights to release @Benjaminsal & @jetfury score work.
So far we’ve got a 100% record - but at times it’s been extremely difficult as most film & tv networks have their own record labels

This week in June 1994 the 'Lovetown' single charted in the UK, peaking at #49.
This image by Stephen Lovell-Davis was taken during the making of the promo video, which was inspired by the artwork of Yayoi Kusama, and directed by Michael Coulson.
We did a huge interview with @LWLies recently, discussing Invada’s involvement with film scores & soundtracks. An extensive history in the labels OST output over the last 13 years & some insight into the A&R process.

‘Passion’ was the first official release on @RealWorldRec when the label launched on June 5th 1989. Also released that same day were the companion album, 'Passion Sources', a selection of traditional music, sources of inspiration and location recordings that fed into the creation of Passion, as well as albums by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Party 'Shahen Shah', Orquesta Revé ‘La Explosíon del Momento’ and Tabu Ley ‘Babeti Soukous’.
35 years later Real World Records continues to release new music and to believe that great music can be enjoyed irrespective of the nationality of the artists creating it.
The artwork for the second album was done again with Hipgnosis, but with Peter Christopherson who later went on to be a key part of the band called Throbbing Gristle. We did it in New York and again it was cold and snowy. Storm had had the idea of the nails tearing away at the paper of the image. I think it is something that he used on a theatre piece that he’d done with his friends Lumiere & Son, but it was something that I enjoyed a lot.' - pg
WIN Magazine, founded in 1965 by the New York Workshop in Nonviolence, spotlighted pacifist and radical causes. Its covers featured bold illustrations and striking photography, powerfully conveying the magazine's commitment to nonviolence and activism, 1970s
