Yesterday I learned that even those that have documented sharp cases still require letters from those aware of what happened to support their VA claim for MST. My friend thanked me for my letter as they validated her trauma, I’m just sad it took others saying it happened.

I don’t cry very often but yesterday I did telling my COL and her secretary how much they unknowingly helped me through my depression and grief after losing my dad almost a year ago now.

For some being kind is in their nature but I will always publicly acknowledge it.
