@tru_maroon@tru_maroon The fact we were even in those games with a chance to win is a testament to Lebby. Way cheaper roster and way less talent and went head to head with those teams who spent much more and had much more talent. Be objective. Facts matter. Give credit where it’s due.
@Todd4State Try not complaining and being negative and instead, support our team. Or maybe find another team. Consistent, unmerited negativity serves no purpose…
@Lebby_Burner@Lebby_burner why are you so negative about MSU sports anytime something isn’t going well? Be a supporter instead of a complainer. Oak is a great coach and we need to be glad he’s our coach. Lebby is good coach and in process of rebuilding our football program.Get on board or off
@bobounds@bobounds how did Lebby/MSU’s roster budget compare to Tennessee, Florida, Texas, Georgia, Ole Miss? $16M v $22M+ for each of those. It matters. You can’t continue to ignore this unless it’s personal. Be objective in your criticism.
@msudawg04@cmasters_xc@msudawg04 either start donating to the athletic program or increase what you’ve been donating. Don’t have to like it, but it’s the reality if you want to have success in the current era. Complaining and being negative isn’t going to help the results
@msudawg04 Disagree. The coach inherited a dumpster fire and then had limited resources ($$) relative to SEC schools. Made dramatic improvement and went toe to toe with the blue bloods with a much “cheaper” roster. Trending up. Get on board.
@GhostOfFiggins Chill with the negativity and let the process play out. Leb knows what he needs and there is nobody working harder to make it happen than he is. Fans need to try supporting Leb and staff versus criticizing every event without having all the facts and information.
@alestate2020 There’s also a business side to this. Proven production costs more than potential production. The football program has a finite “budget” they can spend and have to figure out the best way to allocate their budget “all things considered”.
@Samson_P_Buck@jsndawg Best chance to pick up 5-8 yds and dramatically increase the fg odds. Trusted 6th senior QB. What happened was 1 in a 100, this happened to be the one 🤦🏻♂️. Far from guaranteed Kyle would make 49yd fg on the road with the game in the line - no disrespect to Kyle, he’s very good.
@Samson_P_Buck@Todd4State In the current era, it costs money. You get what you pay for, generally. MSU has a much less expensive roster than our peers in the SEC including ole Miss. Until the rules change, we (fans) need to financially support the program more or accept we will have less talent.
@msudawg04 Past month been spent exiting assistant coaches, searching and interviewing replacement coaches, meeting and negotiating contracts to retain players, evaluating transfer portal talent, AND preparing for a bowl game while short-staffed and w/depleted roster. Far from ideal.
@msdawgs08 Facts matter. We had a $16M roster this season. Our peer schools, including ole Miss, had $22M+ rosters. Like it or not, it directly impacts the quality/talent/depth of roster coaches can build. Unfortunately that’s the era of college football we’re in.
