Kinda terrified for Iowa because they aren’t a team know for their defense*
* fouling every possession but not being called for it because that’s their reputation
@Sam_Vecenie But Sam, he looked tired down the stretch against a Wisconsin team that picked him up full court almost the entire game where he played 44 minutes.
@BrowningEt2785@itsAntWright At a neutral site, a USC win looks better, and a loss doesn’t sting as much because the didn’t have home court advantage. But that’s kinda fugazi because the neutral site is in USC’s backyard. As far as I know though, NET doesn’t take into account distance from campus.
@BrowningEt2785@itsAntWright Nah, you heard it backwards. ISU was willing to play any high major as the road team, but USC only scheduled them at a “neutral” site because of how NET works. If USC were to lose at home to ISU, that would be very bad for their resume, and winning at home doesn’t help much.
@PaulSkallas Less desirable location creates lower prices, lower prices attract people in more desperate situations, people in desperate situations have a greater incentive to commit crime, crime makes location less desirable. Vicious cycle.
@PaulSkallas Interestingly, this is partially explained by the Industrial Revolution in the Northern Hemisphere. Wind generally blows west to east, so the east part of town (or down wind) is generally less desirable due to airborne pollutants.
@GreenStGeneral@IlliniAD Should be a straight wall of students behind the basket on that end. Makes no sense to have students randomly placed through the 200 level.
