In 2022, as part of the Municipal Energy Manager Program, the @City_of_Airdrie hired a Municipal Energy Advisor to benchmark municipal facilities, identify energy savings opportunities, and implement greenhouse gas emission-reducing projects.

In 2023, MCCAC received a $18 million investment from the @YourAlberta's Technology Innovation and Emissions Reduction Fund.
