We held an honorary breakfast for our two retiring teachers, Ms. Rachel Brock and Mr. Jack Stibitz on Thursday.

Both of these teachers gave so much to the profession, our students, and MCC as a whole.

Attention MCC families,
MCC High School will be collecting student Chromebooks and chargers over the last two days of school. Students will turn these items in to their teachers for maintenance and upgrades over the summer. Those not turned in will endure fees. Thank you.

Last Friday, Mr Weinert’s Botany Class took a field trip to Crystal Valley to investigate Bogs and Creek Ecosystems.  Here are some photos of unique plant life at the bog they visited, including a pitcher plant and sundew which are both carnivorous.

At Ruby Creek students looked for Macro-Invertebrates as part of their study.  The students found the species of each and what type of adult insect they morph into.

Congratulations to MCC Junior, Maylan Sanders on being All-State in two events this weekend at the state meet in Kent City! Maylan was 8th in the 110M hurdles and 4th in the 300M hurdles.

Today, in Mr. Weinert’s Anatomy Class, students went to West Michigan Foot and Ankle.  Dr. Alexus Squires and her team explained the services they provide at the clinic and the new technologies that are being used to treat patients. Dr. Squires is a 2010 alum of MCC.

It's graduation day for the class of 2026 at Mason County Central! We start off the day with the tradition of crazy parking and we move onto the senior breakfast.

Mrs Nekola’s Physical Science class applied their knowledge of forces, motion, and momentum to create a container that would protect a raw egg as it landed after being thrown into the air.

Brevelan Comnor and Aiden Wood were chosen to paint this year’s plow for the Mason County Road Commission to be displayed at the county fair.

40 people attended our last Family Game Knights of the year!  We had special visitors from the CMU game design and press program! Next year we may have to meet in the cafeteria!

The 2026 Overall Senior award winner is Aubrey Chye! Aubrey's class advisor Ms. Brock could not be present but speaks very highly of Aubrey and her educational career at MCC.
