There is clear and present danger that aspirants in parties in Azimio will be denied their democratic opportunity to be on the ballot. This we cannot accept.

The registrar of political parties (ORPP) and Azimio coalition party have refused to give us a copy of the Azimio coalition agreement deposited with the ORPP we signed to form the coalition.
On Monday, May 9th, 2022, the party will make a decision on the way forward bearing in mind the plans to zone our party aspirants out and the deadlines set by law.
We, Maendeleo Chap Chap Party has been operating in good faith but this has not been reciprocated.

Maendeleo Chap Chap Party resolved to ONLY negotiate and enter into a coalition with AZIMIO parties. The meeting also resolved to hold an aspirants meeting on 16th March, 2022 followed thereafter by a National delegates conference on 19th March, 2022.
Today, the members of the National Governing Council held a meeting with the Party leader, @DrAlfredMutua and discussed various issues including entering into coalition agreements, our support for AZIMIO and the registration of Aspirants and members for the August 2022 elections.
At Maendeleo Chap Chap Party you will be safe. We will have competitive primaries, consensus, caucuses, internal selection by the party, direct nomination where possible, and nomination party meetings.

7. As part of our preparedness ahead of the 2022 Gen elections, the party invites persons wishing to vie for elective positions across Kenya to a meeting on Dec 9th, 2021. Venue will be communicated in due course.
Yesterday, our party leader chaired the National Governing Council (NGC) meeting of the Maendeleo Chap Chap party in Nairobi.
The day-long meeting deliberated on various matters touching on the party and its growth.
6. The NGC decided that MCC cannot work in isolation. The party will thus engage in a structured manner with like minded leaders and political parties in the spirit of handshake, through the AZIMIO la UMOJA movement and other similar fora to unite Kenyans, ....
