@atrupar 'Thank you Darling'?? The ability of a free press to question power and hold it to account is the keystone of a functioning Democracy, this interview is beyond the pale

WOW -- Trump crashes out and cuts his interview with Welker short as she presses him on his lack of evidence for claiming elections are rigged
"You're either crooked or you're stupid. Let's call it quits. Because I've had enough. Thank you darling," he tells her."
"I traveled all the way to Wisconsin for this interview," she pleads.
6 June 1975. The result of the EEC referendum revealed that 67:23 per cent of the British public voted to stay in the European Economic Community (EEC). Conservative leader, Margaret Thatcher, was one of the leaders of the YES campaign.
🚨 NEW: Andy Burnham has pledged to scrap business rates for shops, cafes and hairdressers - and reduce them by 20% for pubs
It would be funded by increasing taxes on online tech giants and their British warehouses

If you want proof that crime has soared under Labour then consider this startling fact.
In the 2 years that Starmer has been PM there have been more mobile phone thefts than during the 12 years that Thatcher was PM.
Shocking.

More than half of the publicly identified donors to President Trump’s White House ballroom project have won new or expanded federal contracts worth more than $50 billion, according to a report from a government watchdog group. https://t.co/wEAqxMA7AG
4 June 1913. Suffragette Emily Davison walked into the path of king’s horse Anmer during the Epsom Derby. She died on 8 June from a fractured skull. Found in Davison’s effects were 2 suffragette flags, a return railway ticket and a ticket to a suffragette dance later that day.
'My question for Nigel Farage is - why does the family of Henry Nowak mean nothing to you?'
@Peston addresses Farage directly over his claims of 'two-tier' policing.
The Reform leader called for people to respond with ‘pure, cold rage’, despite the family's appeal for calm.
Watch Keir Starmer call out Nigel Farage over his response to the Henry Nowak murder:
"He pretends to have respect for Henry's family & then acts in this way... his response has been to appeal for rage... it shows exactly who he is."

Today, I signed an Executive Order temporarily repealing bedtimes in the City of New York so that kids of all ages can watch our team in the NBA Finals.
As Mayor, you’re forced to make many difficult decisions. This was not one of them.
Go Knicks.
Bernie Sanders hits the nail on the head when explaining the appeal of Trump / MAGA & why voters are content to see constitutional checks and balances overriden...
Sanders: You know why Trump has a nucleus of support? People say, “I go out and I vote every two years. You tell me to vote every four years. So what? I’m going nowhere. Democracy is not working. You know what I need? I need a strong guy. I don’t give a damn about the Constitution, the rule of law. Give me some guy who’s going to crack some heads.”
It’s not just in this country. You’re seeing this all over the world.
So what we have got to do is make democracy work for working people. If tomorrow, God willing, we passed a Medicare for All single-payer system so everybody in this country could get quality health care, people would say, “Huh, you know what? Democracy, that ain’t a bad idea.”
“I just took my kid to the doctor. We had an operation. It didn’t cost me. That’s pretty good. And you know what? My kid is going to college now, a really good school, and it’s tuition-free. I like democracy.”
So democracy is more than just having elections every two or four years. It is delivering for the people. And the problem that we’re having right now is that because the oligarchs increasingly control our democracy, democracy can’t deliver.
I can’t claim to be an expert in the field of Economics but aren’t people spending more in the US simply because things are more expensive rather than Hassett’s rather weird claim that it reflects optimism about the future
Hassett: "People are spending more on gas, but they're also spending more on everything else -- not just groceries, but restaurants and so on. I think that's a sign you see when people are optimistic about the future."
The gravy train continues.
Failed former CEO of Ofwat, David Black has reappeared at a consultancy company called BRG where he will "Advise firms and investors across regulated industries as they navigate shifting regulatory frameworks".
His boss? No less than former head of regulation at Thames Water one Colm Gibson.
As @PrivateEyeNews would say "Trebles all round". Well actually that's exactly what they did say. 👇👇👇
