If a Civil Court Judge overrules a Statute that allows children to testify in court. In particular, Florida Rule of Procedure Rule 8.255(b) of the Florida Rules of Juvenile Procedure states as follows: Presence of Child. (1) The child has a right to be present at all hearings, and (3) If a child is not present at a hearing, the court shall inquire and determine the reason for the absence of the child. That statute also in sub paragraph (f) states the Rule allows the court to grant a continuance for good cause if investigation, discovery, and procuring counsel and witness are necessary. All of which apply, and are just some of the many Judicial Rules of Administration, and Constitutional violations that continue to happen!
