@shatrix @BenBajarin @mweinbach It’s the same feature that shows up when you swipe up on a photo in your photo library, that doesn’t use Google, it’s apples own image search model, in visual intelligence there is also an api that lets apps hook into that UX to take in the image to do their own search

@fahim_al_mahmud I know, I’ve been saying for years this is one of the reasons why allle wasn’t able to launch an LLM based Siri for years due to inference bottlenecks, they literally have billions of devices out there

@agulerer @markgurman Do you really think this is the correct future we want? “AGI” should know how much effort to think, it should put in enough effort to the point that it is confident the users request has been answered. Choosing reasoning effort is a stop gap

@realTimTraveler The general consensus is this has been the best beta and yes a lot does get rewritten also different teams work get merged at different times and not all automated testing may be ready to catch regressions. An OS is a big job it’s not some tiny web app
