@Snuffea @DecerZz @RealSchlep @gouaaai @Fierra_Ch @Roblox_RTC Oh I 100% agree, this does make the API harder to use for no apparent reason. Now developers will have to access the users profile via the new ID or their username to access their global ID whereas it used to be directly accessible.

It doesn’t make it impossible just annoying.

@Snuffea @DecerZz @RealSchlep @gouaaai @Fierra_Ch @Roblox_RTC Yes, those UIDs will vary from each game, but once they are set there’s still no way to change them, and they do link back to the global user ID.. Basically this update does essentially nothing

@Snuffea @DecerZz @RealSchlep @gouaaai @Fierra_Ch @Roblox_RTC User IDs are a permanently fixed snowflake integer used by Roblox internally. You can change your username for 1000 Robux but this doesn’t affect your UID.
