@BBCRealityCheck@BorisJohnson What might happen if alongside the advance info on what a politician is going to say “later today”, we already had a Reality Check comment on it? Most humans show some body language indicating when they are less than truthful. I’d like all politicians to rediscover shame.
@BBCRealityCheck@BorisJohnson As an officer involved in Hull’s changes to Home to School transport policy, made necessary by government cuts to Local Authority funding, there were so many lies told at that time that this one comes as no surprise.
@camilleos@BBCRadio3 Stripped of beautiful sets. Simplified with three outstanding musicians. In 45 years of gigs, never have I attended a better one. Laughter, smiles, tears and just silence, absorbed in the moment. And I got a hug at the end because you said you needed one. Well, so did I. Thanks.
@wattsnextmike Being firm and clear around where someone can improve can be made positive. As helpful and useful managers, that’s what we can do. After all, wouldn’t we appreciate being treated that way?
In the spirit of #HumberBizWeek I've published my first #BforB#podcast today. Great working with my colleague @MerieshaR to discuss the importance of #trust in our #networking relationships and how it can maximise our efforts. listen here: https://t.co/YYtNLPvcKt @PeterAlertPR
#bbccricket did I just hear this correctly? commentary just now on the BBC World Cup coverage:
“he’s getting lots of high fives and pats on the backside from his team mates. [slight pause] He’ll be stiff later. “
I have nothing further to add.
