Yesterday, the Tennessee Department of Education and the State Board of Education officially recognized Discovery School as a 2025 National Blue Ribbon School, placing them among the top-performing schools in the state.

Murfreesboro City Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Friday, January 30.
Bell schedules & bus stop times shift 2 hours later and ESP will be open at all schools from 7 a.m.–6 p.m.
We had hoped to reopen tomorrow; however, several areas remain unsafe despite today’s efforts. For this reason, MCS will be joining the surrounding districts and MTSU and remain closed on Thursday, January 29. ESP will be open at their designated inclement weather sites.
