The extended day today brings the vet science class the opportunity to dissect an animal eye....and now we are doing it in the dark. Thank goodness for cell phone flashlights so we can finish the lab without power in the school.

The Home & Auto for girls class has been busy in the shop this week. They are learning how to weld, doing basic car maintenance and doing a basic wood shop project. Watch out Pinterest, here they come!

The Community Interaction & Awareness class has been out and about in Sherburn this week! We packed bags for the backpack food program for MCW Elementary students and helped clean the Sherburn Food Shelf and stock all of the donated items from the Boy Scout food drive.

Veterinary science students dissected a heart today to help learn about the circulatory system of animals. They handled it very well!
