@BostonJack_617@ArmandDoma@billybinion "Transportation announced that since the switch, speeding in speed camera zones dropped on average 30 percent, and traffic fatalities dropped 25 percent in speed camera zones during extended hours."
@hungerf9 As someone who has spent his life working for and with 100 seat or less theatres in DC, you described exactly what it’s like. Sometimes I feel like those not involved with the orgs. make little to no effort actually discovering what’s it’s like or costs to do this thing.
@dvrogers16 @petermarksdrama Actually quite a few. Studio, Synetic, 1st Stage, Adventure Theatre, Imagination Stage, Theatre J, Round house and a few more. https://t.co/kARbFfEsST
@akakarenwilson Good call! Having played the part myself, I will be honest and say all I was thinking is dear god let me reach even an ounce of what Brent did with the role.
@akakarenwilson Also this nugget - “Parade-Script 1997
Reading starring Matthew Broderick and Carolee Carmello. Many songs have different lyrics in this script from those later performed on Broadway”. I can’t imagine him in that part!
And apparently the Helen Hayes Awards can go fuck itself in importance since we never heard why for the, first time in at least 20 years @washingtonpost didn’t report on it.
I wanna be clear I don’t blame the writers who do a fine job and I enjoy reading, but @washingtonpost’s new balance towards national arts coverage, has given us now 6 articles on Into the Woods out of NYC since July. I guess more clicks = staid and less subject diverse material.
