As someone who stays and works at Beitbridge border post i cry almost every day seeing people having their goods being seized by government (Zimra) I don’t know if we still have government officials with hearts…most posts in government are held by voted people….government of South Africa is very much in support in Xenophobia,Zimbabweans (foreigners) are being chased out of South Africa some have been working there for decades they have property…some are deciding to come back home upon arrival at Beitbridge they have all their property seized (not new) used property..the official will simply use the SI banning importation of furniture 🪑 however the said property will be easily seen even by a blind man that this bed and wadrobe was bought 18 years ago but they still have the guts to say importation of property is prohibited 🚫 make it make sense?
Please relevant authority have hearts with your citizens these people are being chased they didn’t just wake up 🆙 and decide to take their property to border help them samplif 🙏
I blame the government and I also blame the church
They should have also assisted neMari ye kunoona private doctor
Yes Ibasa re government asi government yedu yakadhakwa but ma church anotora Mari dzakawanda dzinoshandei dzikasashanda emergency dzakadai ???
Letter from a follower to us all;
Hi Mukoma Hopewell, I am writing to you kindly asking you to address our attitude towards road accidents. I know it is not your duty to do so, but I believe your words might help in knocking sense into us as Zimbabweans. I often hear you say we are not as educated as we think, and I concur with you.
There was a young lady who is trending on social media, she surprised her mother by visiting her here in Zim, and on her visit from the UK she was caught in the crossfire of police chasing a combi driver. A similar incident happened a year or so ago, and a young man who was visiting from Canada died the same way this lady died. We also had the death by car accident of that big family of six.
The attitude we have been exhibiting is so worrying and will cause many more to die. The general consensus on social media is “varoyi, mhepo, hurombwa”. Seriously, what have we become? No one wants to acknowledge or even talk about how our driving is so reckless.
Our drunk driving, our speeding, our overloading, use of cellphones whilst driving, crossing red robots, driving without ever having sat a driving exam. This is never discussed, but we run to blame unseen forces when all this recklessness that most people participate in is the cause.
I know this is not your responsibility, but I am begging you to please address this issue, maybe a few might contemplate it, maybe we can hold each other accountable.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Victor Osimhen: “I left home with a backpack and two pairs of clothes. The one I was wearing, and a green kit in my bag. Lucky green. We drove to Abuja in the oldest car you can imagine, and we arrived at midnight.
The next morning, the sun came up, and I saw 1 million kids with a dream.
Maybe 1 million is an exaggeration, but not by much. There must have been 900 kids waiting outside this stadium. The first day, I didn’t even get on the pitch. The second day, one of the coaches finally pointed at me.
‘Green shirt. Let’s go. You have 15 minutes.’
Just 15 minutes to change my life. I knew that the only way to impress them was to run. So I ran until I was sweating blood.
I ended up scoring 2 goals in 15 minutes.
I thought that maybe I had a chance. But then the coaches got on a microphone, and they addressed the crowd. They called out some names, and I did not hear my name. Everybody started walking to the parking lot.
My dream was dead. I was just about to get in the car when I heard people shouting.
‘Hey! Hey! The guy in green!’
Huh???
I turned around, and some kids were waving to me.
I pointed to my chest, like in the movies.
Me???
I looked behind me.
‘The guy in green!’
Lucky green.
I ran back over to them, and they said, ‘Hey, the coach wants to see you. The team doctor told him you were the guy who scored two goals. Are you the guy?’
I said, ‘I’m the guy!!! I’M THE GUY!!!!’
I went back into the stadium and the doctor was pointing at me and holding up two fingers.
He said, ‘That’s the kid.’
Two fingers saved me.
If the team doctor didn’t do that, I would not be a footballer today. I would probably be at the bottom of a well.”
Truly Inspiring! @victorosimhen9

20 years in the UK, not even one protest at the Zimbabwean Embassy, but you’ve got energy to call people back home cowards? 😭 The ones actually living under the heat are the “cowards,” and you’re tweeting bravery from comfort? Please. Revolution via WiFi doesn’t count. 😹💔

HALLO FRIDAY…🙏🙏🙏
I have the GREATEST PLEASURE in sharing that this past week, I purchased a total of 10 BRAND NEW luxury buses 🚌✨ for our church, JOHANNE MASOWE CHISHANU. This is my SMALL WAY of contributing towards easing the BURDEN of transporting my fellow church members to and from our PLACES OF WORSHIP, especially as we prepare for MUSANGANO WEGORE next week. At a cost of 195 thousand USD each the total of US$ 1 950 MILLION was we’ll spent for the GLORY OF GOD 🙏 and the joy of His people. This is only the BEGINNING because my dream is to work hard and donate another 10 buses by end of December and another 10 buses by April 2026.
It is such an HONOUR to make this offering to a CHURCH that has CHANGED my LIFE and the lives of MILLIONS across the world . Today, JOHANNE MASOWE CHISHANU stands as one of the BIGGEST indigenous churches, with more than 3 MILLION MEMBERS and a history dating back to 1931 when BABA JOHANNE was called by the HOLY SPIRIT kuti vanamatire kuponeswa kwe AFRICA ye vanhu vatema. Each BUS proudly carries the FACE of MUTUMWA BABA JOHANNE, a reminder of our SPIRITUAL LEADER whose SPIRIT is still ALIVE among us.
BABA JOHANNE VAKATUMWA that is why our CHURCH is more about COMPASSION, standing with each other, HELPING one another in TIMES OF NEED and FELLOWSHIP, together in PRAYER. We are a CHURCH OF UNITY, that teaches HUMILITY, for we believe that GOD LIFTS UP those who HUMBLE themselves.
We are LIVING WITNESSES of the PROPHECY being fulfilled in our GENERATION, that a YOUNG MAN would rise and BLESS THE CHURCH in ways NEVER SEEN BEFORE. With all HUMILITY, I THANK GOD for choosing me to be one of those who RECOGNIZE the IMPORTANCE of the CHURCH and the need to SUPPORT its growth. I WILL NEVER STOP, i will never tire, for this is the ANOINTING and SPIRITUAL OBLIGATION placed upon me by the HOLY SPIRIT.
In preparation for our yearly MUSANGANO WEGORE, running from WEDNESDAY to SUNDAY next week, the following 10 BRANCHES have been invited to send their DRIVERS to collect their BUSES at our GWANZURA branch in HIGHFIELD, on SUNDAY at 0900HRS:
