We love our end of the year signature scavenger hunts (iykyk). Closed out year 12 of teaching and our Seniors graduate bright and early in the am! I am so proud of my Esports team and we are looking to grow even more.
Next year will bring new challenges as I take on a new role as the head/chair of our Math Dept. I've always taken care of my people so now we will see if I'm fit to do it in an official capacity. Wish me luck.
We're getting more hardware for the team. I've already reached out and thanked them directly. My console players will now have way more options to practice!! This is the 2nd project we've had funded for our team and we are just so thankful.
When your friend from college increases their donation on Donor's Choose so that Sonic will price match it and fully fund your project. >>>>>>>>>>>
IF I TAUGHT YOU... 🧑🏾🏫🍎📚
For Teacher Appreciation Week, I'd love for my former students to **tell me how you are doing and what you are doing (school, job, career, family, etc..)!** Even if you know that I know all about it - I want to hear from you! And pictures!!!!!! 📸📸
Attendance goal strikes again: Attention 1A and 3A tomorrow may be April Fools but this is no joke. IF you placed your order with me you have your first choice! Unless you got a strawberry cream they were out so I did my best and got your 2nd choice.
This is gonna sound bigger than what it is but I got invited by my graduate professor to come speak to her undergrad students about being gifted and disabled, while sharing my experiences in teaching and specifically teaching gifted students. Hopefully they enjoyed it.🧑🏾🏫
One of them teacher long days! Work -> E-sports practice after school -> Boy's basketball game. Always great to see my students outside of our regularly scheduled 90 min intervals
This semester has been hitting me on all fronts. I've made A's before but this is the first time I've got them +'s. Significant thesis process made #bitbybit#giftededucation#gradschool 3 more workdays (2 w/ students)
It's been an emotional day. 7 years with the school that helped me grow as an educator finally hit this awesome milestone. Forever proud of my westside fam a lot of hard work went into this.@PortAllenPels
