@NIOpera what a breathtaking production of #Follies we had the pleasure of seeing last Saturday evening. Phenomenal in every way 👏 x I could watch it again and again. We flew over that morning from Hampshire especially to catch it. Best decision ever. Such a beautiful theatre 🥰
Had a few days to really sit down and think back to the last few months on the challenge and I’m going to try sum up my emotions.
Genuinely the most incredible experience I’ve ever had. Although my body and mind was ready to go home after all the running, I will miss it in a very strange way. The sense of having that purpose to get to the finish line, the peace of the scenery and most of all the people I met along the way.
It was never going to be easy, many ups and down on the way. Car crash, nearly dying on the third day (long story) and plenty of moments I was on the verge of giving up but that feeling at the finish line will never be topped.
There’s many thank you posts I could do but mainly one for my support man and good friend Harry. To quit his job and join me as support man on this journey shows his true heart of gold. What that man did for me the last few months means everything, it’s rare to find someone so genuine and I’ll be forever grateful for harry.
To go in with a goal of £20,000 to raise for @mindcharity and leave it sitting on £145,000 is something I’ll never be able to comprehend. Thank you so much for making that possible and for all the love and support.
This challenge has showed me that my body can do some mad things, maybe not at a quick pace but distance wise this is just the beginning. Over the next few weeks I’ll begin my editing on the documentary and try capture every emotion of this journey. Cannot wait for whatever is next. Mental health matters ❤️
@Thehullboy1 You are phenomenal!!! I can't even put into words what an inspirational and determined personality you are. I incredible. You have got this 👏👏👏
@SirTimRice you were fabulous last night at @FarehamLive. You've inspired me for 50 years 🥰 I thank you so much for that. Michael Stuckey was my music teacher in 1975/76 and we did Joseph at parents evening too. Taken way too young xx
Many are contacting me asking how they can help support me.
Contact your MPs, share my story and work far and wide to keep up the awareness.
The momentum must continue and children should always be at the forefront.
There’s so much work to be done on children born from rape, criminal & sexual exploitation.
You’ve all been incredible.
Thank you ❤️
Hi all, this is Jane, Sooz's sister. I've been asked by a few people to post this link from her account. Please feel free to leave a comment in memory of Sooz, or donate to one of her chosen charities if you wish ✨ https://t.co/EmNP5KRteV
Hello X, an update.
After 2.5 months in hospital, I moved to a hospice around 3 weeks ago for end of life care. The hospice is wonderful and the staff are truly taking care of my every need. I have no pain and am very much at peace.
