Disappointed to hear @CityofTampa City Council voted unanimously to pay $1 million for 3 years of sprinkler citations. 🤦🏽♂️ Tampa SOP, penalize instead of incentivize. 👮🏼
Pilot rebate program coming from @TampaBayWater.
Disappointed council unanimously voted to hire water cops for the next 3 years. It would be nice if citation money could go towards rebates that incentivize residents to save water. #Copland 👮🏼💦#SaveIt
@BobBuckhorn It's not that's it's not a great idea, is it the right time? Our roads are atrocious and $4-8mill would be better served on our existing transit system, more so than pie in the sky bike loops. Understandably the older generation is in a rush to get as much done, fast as possible.

@vmybor1 is becoming a landfill, its gotten progressively worse over last couple years with new construction. @ItsMeGwen813 Where you at!? Spent another one of my day's off raking up trash near construction sites.
@carlsonbill A grant paid for the previous comprehensive report, correct? You mentioned new results on podcast. Who pays this time? When to expect? Can we add utility variables like water usage, wastewater dump by gallons/day etc?👍🏼
@TaterTatiana@carlsonbill@CityofTampa Couldn't hurt. The city pitches projects as if they're already approved and frequently inflates ease of process, a lil' more lawfulnessss couldn't hurt. Valid point regardless. 👏🏼
@carlsonbill I like the idea of swearing @CityofTampa staff members in before presenting misleading info in their presentations...apparently council feels the differently. 🤔
Nice to see council discussing ideas on improving voter turnout. It's not lack of good candidates, its not the yearly salary, its the difficulty in overcoming long standing unions and groups that move elections. With a 13% voter turnout the population is not represented.
@CityofTampa contractors and @MyFDOT should have to post QR codes on sites for community feedback...the 'meet once every 6 months' with no new info is unrealistic in private industry.
