Maryland Food Bank's Retail Recovery Program has received a $750,000 grant from Walmart and Feeding America to facilitate food donation programs. The money is being used for new equipment, vehicles and staff to recover food from grocery stores. The Maryland Food Bank aims to reach 15.6 million pounds of donated food this year.
