While dealing with your personal tax return before the deadline, it’s easy to forget the other regular tax duties.
The deadline to submit the CIS return for the month ended 5th January 2022, is 19th January and the CIS deducted for that month must be paid to HMRC by 22nd January
It's a bit of a belated Happy New Year from us, we've been riding the wave that is JANUARY DEADLINES!

We are less than 2 months away from the Self-Assessment tax return deadline!
To give yourself as much notice as possible, of the amount of tax you will need to pay by 31 January 2022, we suggest filing your tax return as soon as possible.

As of 1 October 2021, the temporarily reduced rate of VAT for the hospitality, holiday accommodation and attractions sector has increased from 5% to 12.5%.
This new rate will be in place until 31 March 2022, before reverting back to the standard rate of 20% from 1 April 2022

We are glad to hear that HMRC have decided to delay the start of Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income Tax until April 2024!
MTD for Income Tax involves individuals with self-employed business or property income over £10,000 to report income quarterly to HMRC.
