When the room was calming down, Mona jumped in and took it in a different direction by addressing Flip. She said Rory showed his true self to him and disrespected him, and that Flip could have punched him and would've been in his right to do so. She also said she watched the Rory and Mal podcast where Rory gave a bullshit apology. Mona said he implied that Flip set it up, and that Rory "played the white man" in that apology.

After Emanny said Mal held Rory accountable for his actions, Joe Budden said that's the only thing he likes about Mal, he de-escalates well.

Mona got really pumped up and said that if they're ever out together and something like that happens and it gets physical, she doesn't want them to hold her back, they should grab the other person instead.

The entire cast gave Flip props for not reacting badly that night.
