We are announcing a new rule regarding QRT/commenting on suspension/ban announcements. Making jokes or inappropriate comments in regard to these could be seen as targeted harassment, and could result in a warning or further action. Our goal is transparency, not public shaming.

Azure X Phantom aka Hood Goth is indefinitely banned from events in Maryland and Virginia, due to inappropriate conduct at a tournament, with the ability to appeal. This is effective on the notification send date of 9/02/2024.

Effective from 6/10/24 to 8/8/24, PawnMaster is suspended from attending MDVA Smash events for repeat outbursts of rage, including slamming and throwing objects.

We have received multiple reports of various inappropriate verbal and physical interactions from the player Josue. As such, Josue will be indefinitely banned from events in Maryland and Virginia with the ability to appeal. This is effective starting today, 5/09/2024.

For clarification, Towa/Swifter will not automatically be placed on the MDVA TO Council. For now, he is simply the primary TO for The Cave.

In the future, the Council may hold a vote should we see a need for an additional voting member.

As of today, Monday April 15th, AGenericName/Generic/AGenericMichael will no longer be on the MDVA TO Council.

Similarly, he will no longer be the TO for The Cave local. Starting this Thursday, April 18th, Towa/Swifter will act as the TO.
