A conclusion I’ve came to.
8/10 ladies going back to her ex, it was never the s*x or D*ck.
It’s always Money.
Whores in Business, Men in love .
We’re so cooked .
I was in a keke this afternoon, pressing my phone, when the two boys beside me started arguing about it.
"Na Samsung."
"No, na Poco."
One finally asked:
"Babes, what model is your phone?"
I said:
"Redmi Note 15 Pro+."
The guy checked online and shouted:
"Guy! This babe used ₦660k to buy an Android phone? Money wey fit buy iPhone 14!"
They spent the next few minutes explaining why ladies don't know phones.
Then my colleague entered the keke.
"Master, good afternoon sir."
One of them quickly moved to the front and my colleague joined me at the back.
We started discussing work.
Suddenly, it changed from "Babes" to "Ma."
When I was about to get down, one of the boys said:
"Ma, please, we'll pay."🙄
POV: Your company pays the State Government #1,050,000 to produce Cylindrical Concrete Electrical poles, yearly, pays Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA) #730,000 annually to confirm the quality of the electrical poles, with series of tests. Company also pays for SON MANCAP for said poles, yet still pays Business and staff taxes dutifully.
Only for the ministry in charge of electrification to always outsource the same poles you have in your possession and actively pay to sell.
Your company is the only company producing the cylindrical concrete electrical poles in the entire state. So they would rather get the same poles, usually lesser quality, from a much farther source. Shell(currently Renaissance Energy) actively works with us, alongside oil giants that carry out electrification jobs in this part of the country, they attest to our superior standard. Yet
It is business though, no further sentiments necessary.
