SpaceX just showed the first draft of an orbital AI compute satellite.

This is not science fiction. It is scaled Starlink V3 hardware already in production.

• 150 kW peak / 120 kW sustained power
• Solar arrays at 250 W/m²
• Double-sided radiators at 1,400 W/m², knife-edged to the Sun
• ~1 Tbps laser interconnect
• Direct laser + Ka/Ku downlink through the existing Starlink mesh
• Latency from 600–800 km orbit: ~3 ms
• One satellite ≈ one full NVIDIA GB300 rack in space

Radiators match the scale of current V3 solar arrays.

Space is large. Experience operating 10,000+ satellites is the real advantage.

Orbital compute is no longer theoretical.
