A week ago today, I received 2nd prize in the Jurow International Harpsichord Competition! Very honored to share this prize (no 1st awarded) and to form friendships with wonderful colleagues in this prestigious event. (Also represented the US in this musical Olympics!) #award
As a former adjunct teaching simultaneously at 3 universities, with 47 private students, teaching 5 courses, advising grad students, & still commissioning, premiering, & performing recitals around the world - yet, still unable to be paid over $29,000 a year, this made me cry👇
I was thrilled to receive the news today that I've been nominated to The Diapason's 20 Under 30 Class of 2021, which recognizes young performers of organ, harpsichord, carillon, and church music at the forefront of their fields. This is a tremendous honor!!!
Hello, folks, and happy Saturday! Several dear friends and I have banded together to form the Seven Hills Baroque! We're excited to begin performing in Cincinnati this spring! Check us out on Facebook!
