Fun facts in Super Mario Odyssey: The push-back preventing Mario from getting out of hot tomato soup while capturing a Lava Bubble is not active when lava is below, and only has limited strength, allowing to uncapture without pressing a button (given the right angle and speed).
Sorry, that probability should have said 0.195% - 1 in 512 is correct though.
If you want to check yourself, mod `710038061C` to a NOP, so the UFO shows up always after the game is completed, or also NOP `7100380608` to remove the completion check.

Fun Facts in Super Mario Odyssey: The lights in Night Metro were supposed to blink instead of constantly showing red, and turn off when shot with an explosive. Due to an oversight in the code, this does not work, and the behaviour on the right is observed instead.
@Speed_SMO Nope, it's real. Feel free to test yourself, if you have a lot of time on hand - or ask your favorite modder to replace the check at 0x7100287D98 to make the fly spawn every time.
Fun Facts in Super Mario Odyssey: There is a 1 in 128 chance (0.78125%) for a fly to spawn when entering Binoculars. It will fly randomly fly around on the screen.

@Marioisbest1 Sorry, I've only just now seen your message here. Yes, I know some ways to contact them - or if those are outdated too, I know some people who are in regular contact with Jadefalke. Feel free to send me a DM if you're still interested in contacting Jadefalke in some way!
The space helmet and 8-Bit-Mario cap protects you from these (you still receive damage). The invisibility cap does not, so you will spawn floating needles when running into a cactus!
