I have long loved the chromatic echoes and general iridescence in Pierre Bonnard's painting Nu dans le bain (1936) ~ now on view at the Bonnard au Cannet exhibition at Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris. Marthe's body seems to be dissolving into light and becoming viractualized.
