I’m as critical on the game mode as anyone, but you can still play Regs if you want that “OG” madden feel.
I think abilities and xfactors did more than anything.

I have both but I really only use the Xbox for madden / CFB.
I’m thinking of just going to PlayStation on those games and be done with Xbox.

Looks like it is a mechanic to resemble what real teams do.

EA added FORMATION SHIFTS back into College Football 27!

Basically, at the Playcall Screen, you call one formation...

Then can "SHIFT" into another immediately!

This can be VERY annoying for a Defense!
