Due to the concerted efforts of MCA to ensure compliance of the provisions of section 148 of the Companies Act, 2013, Cost Audit related filings have been increased by 36% in last two years. Further, filings within the due date have also been increased by 14% during the year 2023-24 in comparison to last year.

Is CMA equivalent to CA?

The answer is simple.

You cannot compare apples with oranges.

They both are incredible courses in their own spaces that serve different purposes.
So the question of equivalence doesn't arise, because they are not comparable.

You might know me more as a CA Tax Professor,
but truth is CMA is very close to my heart.

Back in the days when I used to teach face to face batches in Mumbai,
many CMA students used to work whole time and prepare for CMA on the side,
and ACE the exams!
That has always inspired me.
